I guess the addon has a bit of a learning curve (I hope the next version that I am currently working on will improve on this front). You can delete sessions from within the sidebar (Alt+Q) clicking on the 3 dots next to "Restore tabs" and chose "remove session". There is also a context menu for the individual tabs in the sidebar. You could also use Firefoxs bookmark viewer since sessions are just bookmark folders. Hope this helps :)
