Updated review: Working again after the update.

Doesn't alert anymore.

Its a small, simple, but nevertheless quite useful addon to be notified by new emails in your Yahoo account. No question there are options that would make it much more better (own sound, only sound notification and most irritating: why must it always blink - why not only if new mail ?? etc.)
But my main problem now is that the check intervall
- does not work correctly.
I hav 600 sec in the option, so it should inform me all 10 minutes, but instantly (extremely fast) if a new email arrives it pop ups.
Anyone else have this problem ?
Another question:
there is NO LINK from the addon in Firefox to this site ?

My Yahoo Mail Alerter is was working on June 26, 2019 in the morning, until that afternoon the icon is grayed out! I needed to bring back to fix the problem right away. I don't know the email is on my inbox or not, I am using Firefox 67.0.4 browser.

My Firefox Browser had updated into 69.0, and this note said this add-on gets blocked if you enabled tracker content blocking (Tracker or Third-party tracker cookies).

5/5, does what it says it does, however it stopped working for some reason (with no change to privacy settings on my side). A shame, I hope it gets fixed..
UPDATE! Within 48 hours of the problem, the developer fixed it. 5/5 great dev!

This add-on works okay, but there are a couple of things that would make it better:
1) Play the sound WHENEVER it checks and finds an unread email in the inbox. Playing a sound only once kind of defeats the purpose of an alerter - if you aren't within ear-shot of the alert, you will forever miss it.
2) Make the sound that is played for an alert user selectable. Just give the user an option to select the sound that he prefers.
3) Make type of notification an option - allow a user to select popup notification, sound notification or both popup and sound.

Doesn't add to toolbar?

I tried to change the Check interval (in seconds) to 60 and it keeps going back to 300. Would be nice if this could be changed to a lower value.

Hi man the add on just shows a sand watch icon and never checks for new emails. So
the interval was 300 sec. than I changed it to 60. Nothing. Still that glass watch icon

Works as expected. Accurate mail count and prompt notifications. Only improvement would be an option to disable sound notifications (visual notification but choice of with or without sound).

Worked without any problem. Accurate.
A wish: add possiblity to turn off notification of new message, that is, only show the number of unread message.
