YJTracker Privacy Policy — last updated July 29, 2026

YJTracker is a personal job-application tracker (web app + this extension). This policy covers both.

No account? In demo/guest mode everything stays in your browser's local storage — never sent to our servers.

Account: we store your email + an auth session via Supabase; your password is managed by Supabase Auth (hashed, never visible to us).

The extension reads a page only when you click it (activeTab) — never in the background. Captured page text goes to our parsing service (a Supabase Edge Function) which forwards it to a third-party AI provider (currently Google Gemini and/or Groq) solely to extract job fields. We don't retain the raw page text. Your login session is stored locally to keep you signed in.

We never sell/rent/trade your data, show ads, run trackers, or collect browsing history.

Delete any job in-app; email us to delete your whole account.
