Works well! Other programs did not work with youtube 12.27.22. No issue with yD.

After installing several additional things, including an additional plug in, no, this extension does not actually convert YT videos to audio.

This has worked fine for year but no longer works at all and no updates so it is dead end extension not worth using anymore.

As an amateur archivist, this is an important part of my toolset. (YouTube-) source quality video files of my choosing depending on my needs. Some parts of the user interface / experience are weird or counterintuitive, but overall this is great.

Appears to be broken; it acts like it downloads the files but then immediately deletes them, regardless of what kind of download is being done (audio-only/video-only/both).

This started about a month ago (June 2021) and has yet to be fixed. Before June or so it was working fine and would download audio/video/both. So either Youtube changed something or the code broke, either of which have rendered this inoperable.

Doesn't tell me I need to buy anything or upgrade in order to use it.

After last update the audio is downloaded with 128 kb/s sampling only instead of the original audio quality. How to solve it if possible ? Otherwise used to be great, the best tool to download music from YT.
