- Noté 1 sur 5par z0z0, il y a 4 joursDont waste your time, Once installed it works for that session, then when you close the browser, it disappears while it takes up CPU. Shame on you shitty developer. Also to note, the 37 5stars are all fake. Extension reported and flagged.

mis en ligne : il y a 3 joursHi, sorry you had a bad experience. Did you mean the process remains active after closing Firefox? If so, for how long? I'd like to know if you had any other add-ons running to see if this is a conflict, as other add-ons can cause the process to stay after closing the browser. I could not replicate what you said. I try my best to optimize the extension and I know there's still room for improvement. - Noté 5 sur 5par EternalSunset, il y a 4 joursIt's not working at all. I tried using this regex pattern to block all those annoying clickbaity videos with titles like "The X situation is crazy!" and it didn't block anything:
\bsituation[\w\s]is[\w\s](crazy|insane|wild|unbelievable)
EDIT: I tried it again with the developer's instructions and it is working as intended now. Thank you very much!Réponse du développeur
mis en ligne : il y a 3 joursHello. Does the entire extension not work or is just this specific regex?
Make sure that the regex is wrapped between slashes (/), and also add the "i" flag so it ignores if characters in the title is uppercase or lowercase.
The regex would look like this:
/\bsituation[\w\s]is[\w\s](crazy|insane|wild|unbelievable)/i
Sorry for the inconvenience. - Noté 4 sur 5par That One Guy, il y a 15 joursThe members only vids were diving me crazy, this seems to block them. I am truly grateful.
I had tried several diff code lines for uBO that did nothing to block members only vids and I was well past highly annoyed. - Noté 3 sur 5par flashwitt, il y a 2 moisI mean... it does what it says it does, but would be a lot better if the notice that it's blocked a video didn't INCLUDE the word it was blocked because of, IN BOLD PRINT. So... there's words I don't want to see/hear in videos... and you feel the need to ANNOUNCE the thing that I have specifically told you *I don't want to see*. See where I'm going with this? You could like, instead, say "Blocked due to your YTBlock preferences." That would be better.

mis en ligne : il y a 2 moisYou can customize the overlay to not show the reason the video was blocked by going to the options page, go to "Overlays" on the left sidebar, then check "remove block reason". But the bold "BLOCKED" is not possible to remove for now. You can disable the entire overlay if you want by unchecking the "Show overlays" option. Thank you! - Noté 3 sur 5par ExistingExpert, il y a 2 moisIt is a great extension and it does what it says but it really slows the browser down as to make it unusable.
- Noté 5 sur 5par Steel Delvin, il y a 2 moisDoes as it says and helps me block ai slop and political ragebait content
- Noté 3 sur 5par Finalreminder, il y a 3 moisBlocks channels fine, but one weird thing I noticed is that when I open a new video, it will sometimes show the comment section for the last video.
- Noté 5 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 13643919 de Firefox, il y a 3 moisWorks great! Recommended!
- Noté 5 sur 5par Ploof, il y a 4 moisWorks well and helps a lot, especially love the ability to set click based disabling. Would be nice, if there was a way to apply the blocking to just the video and not the recommended videos on the side, as it slows down the site, even if I have disabled the sidebar with Untrap.

- Noté 5 sur 5par Mugnum, il y a 5 moisBanger extension. Actually smites all the clankers in youtube comments, which keep commenting same vile stuff under literally every comment on popular channels.

5 stars, because I think, this can be fixed.
Version 5.13.1 (August 28, 2025):
- On the main page no red X after the channel name and no entries in the menu.
- But this works, when I open the video.
- Blocked videos are listed on the main page without a blocking-overlay, however, on the video's page you get the blocking-overlay.
- It seems that the blocking-overlay sometimes works on the main page as well. - Noté 3 sur 5par Gijop, il y a 6 mois

- Noté 5 sur 5par 1on1, il y a 6 moisThanks for all your hard work on this. I've been happy with this extension until now, but since the latest update, videos from channels I've blocked are showing up again. When I hover over a video and click the red block button, the channel gets added to the block list in the options, but it doesn't actually hide the videos. I've been using it with the overlays hidden, and it seems like the blocking only works properly when the overlays are shown.

mis en ligne : il y a 6 moisThank you for the bug report, I will take a look into it and hopefully fix it very soon. - Noté 5 sur 5par Hiroki Etsuko, il y a 6 mois
- Noté 2 sur 5par Burrito, il y a 6 moisDoesn't seem to work in private windows any more.
However the reason for 3 stars is that when a video/channel is blocked, you have to have the overlay enabled for it to actually be blocked. If I disable the overlay, then "blocked" videos/channels still appear in my suggestions. I just want them completely removedRéponse du développeur
mis en ligne : il y a 6 moisSorry for incovenience, can you tell me which version is your YTBlock? Does it happen to all videos or only the ones in certain pages? Please let me know.
