The longer the extension is opened the more memory it takes. Browser without this extension switched on takes 600MB memory and after switching it on takes 2600MB. This should be investigated. Users are complaining about that sinco at least 2022.

- Wurdearring: 4 fan 5troch Crookedcuc, ien moanne lynI feel like the UI is not the most convenient sometimes it feels too slow to do some things, but it does do the job I've been using bitwarden for years.

- Wurdearring: 4 fan 5troch Firefox-brûker 18849248, 2 moannen lynThey decided to put the copy button behind two clicks for absolutely NO REASON. Works great besides that
- Wurdearring: 4 fan 5troch Firefox-brûker 18832438, 2 moannen lynI love this extension, but the new UI is pretty much a negative change. It's more difficult to fill in logins now and that's pretty frustrating.
- Wurdearring: 4 fan 5troch Peter Yates, 3 moannen lynGood overall. The interface is a bit clunky in parts, especially since the copy buttons for password/OTP code were removed from the list. Still, wouldn't be without it.
- Wurdearring: 4 fan 5troch ZachHeise, 3 moannen lynThe new UI that was introduced at the end of 2024 is unfortunately, a downgrade. Previously, clicking the entire rectangle of a Vault entry, would autofill on the page. Now, clicking the rectangle opens the "edit" section. And now we need to click a tiny "Fill" button instead. This seems...backwards? The thing you are doing most often is wanting to fill/autofill. Editing is not the typical action, almost certainly. Why not give us an option to reverse this? Make "fill" be the thing that happens when you click anywhere on an entry, and make a tiny button that says "edit" - like how it used to be. Other than that, I don't have any real complaints about the UI changes - but it's a pretty major one.

- Wurdearring: 4 fan 5troch GammaRay, 3 moannen lynOne of the best free password managers. Allows you to save logins and other personal information in several different formats, and add custom fields to any login (which can be visible or hidden). This is a "must have" feature for me that some other password managers lack.
My only complaint is that after a recent update, Bitwarden has been a bit buggy, and sometimes you have to save logins twice after editing them before the updated information shows up. However, I mostly use the desktop app so idk if this issue is common for the browser extension too. - Wurdearring: 4 fan 5troch Gloi, 3 moannen lynCan you add hiding/censor of the email when the vault is locked for the current user?
Other than that the extension is great. - Wurdearring: 4 fan 5troch Razoner, 4 moannen lynThis Bitwarden extension does what I need it to, but I liked the old UI from 1-2 months more than the redesign. The redesign has made it more difficult to autofill my passwords and edit my logins.
- Wurdearring: 4 fan 5troch John Mais, 4 moannen lynMy favorite app and extension. But please, restore the previous UI — it was soo much better and intuitive.
Otherwise, it's a great password manager, thank you! - Wurdearring: 4 fan 5troch Mraedis, 4 moannen lynWould be 4 or 5 stars but the recent UI changes made it slower to use (more clicks) which for a tool you use a lot makes zero sense.
Update: thanks for the response, I've edited the review to reflect these settings. Still missing a quick copy for the TOTP codes though.Antwurd ûntwikkeler
3 moannen lyn pleatstHi. Mare sure you are on version 2024.12.4 or above, then check under Bitwarden Settings > Autofill > "Click items to autofill on Vault view" and Bitwarden Settings > Appearance > "Show quick copy actions on Vault" if you want to restore previous functionality that you may prefer. - Wurdearring: 4 fan 5troch Gokul C, 4 moannen lyn
- Wurdearring: 4 fan 5troch Firefox-brûker 15958306, 4 moannen lynLay out is ugly and very 'DOS 1990', but as far as I can judge now, system as such is safe.
- Wurdearring: 4 fan 5troch Bart, 4 moannen lynFill button is a disaster, NEVER change muscle memory behavior! Maybe change the Fill button to Edit button. This will make the edit fuctionality quickly available. But the main goal for a password manager is filling user/password combination. So default behavior should be kept as it was before !
With this Fill disaster change reverted, 5 stars rating will also be restored - Wurdearring: 4 fan 5troch Firefox-brûker 18754789, 4 moannen lynThe interface update was a mistake. Please put the "copy username" and "copy password" buttons back the way they were. You guys added clicks instead of removing them. This is interface 101: reduce clicks.
- Wurdearring: 4 fan 5troch Firefox-brûker 18008698, 4 moannen lynThe best password manager in my opinion, but not the biggest fan of the recent redesign. The most often used functions now have an additional step to access, like copying password or username only, and autofill is now a small button instead of just clicking anywhere on the item. The default view also puts cards and identities (being less likely to autofill) behind yet another couple clicks to filter for those.
While the appearance is nicer, the user experience is definitely worse with this update.
