Breaks Amazon reviews, I can never get past page one. I suspect this has been causing problems on other sites I've been having frustrating problems with, but I'd forgotten about this add on. Disabling for now, will check on again someday.

Great, it cleans the links nicely! (If you click on something, e.g. a page that opens in a new tab, it appears clean, i.e. without tracking and other codes : )
If the privacy parts* are true (and in principle they are, otherwise it wouldn't be here : )
then it's a great plugin.
Google / chromium removed it in a mean way, but there "Linkumori (URLs Cleaner) - formerly Neat URL" solves this or you can install it manually: github ClearURLs/Addon/releases

Remek, szépen tisztítja a hivatkozásokat! (Ha rákattintasz valamire, pl. új fülön megnyíló oldal, akkor az tisztán, tehát követési és egyéb kódok nélkül jelenik meg : )

but white list/exclusion list/exception list is missing.

Can't believe this is a recommended add-in. Causes major malfunctions on amazon.de: 1) Prevents seeing reviews when selecting 'more reviews' and then navigating to the second page, or using filters by star rating. 2) prevents opening of popups to add notes on items in a wish list.
This has been going on for a while and i had no idea what was causing amazon to malfunction, did some time-consuming testing disabling addons one by one, and there is no doubt it was this one to cause troubles.

Hat für mich ohne spezielle Konfiguration gut funktioniert, nur der Preiswecker-Link von Idealo funktioniert aktuell (2025-11-11) mit ClearURLs nicht (Firefox zeigt einen Json-Fehler statt der Seite). Daher habe ich ClearURLs erst mal deaktiviert.

I spend more time for understand how rules (not) work than manually remove crap from urls!
