- Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch Dt, 8 moannen lynDoesn't work for YouTube videos on Firefox on my PC.
I recommend adding a section to the description that lists some of the most popular sites which it is known to work on [Facebook, Twitter/X, YouTube, etc]. And a list of some that don't.
Or if it only works on Firefox for Android then mention that. Something simple.
(This extension works by detaining the automatic playback of the videos, but achieves, for example, that Spotify does not reproduce the songs in a row, but stops when one reproduces one, then you have to click again to continue so that it goes to the next song. A disaster I have had to uninstall instantly.) - Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch randomofamber, ien jier lynDoes not working. Per-domain preferences can't be set too...
- Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch yomaus, ien jier lynDoesnt work on Yotube nor Facebook, i believe with the rest its the same.
- Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch Noneo Yerbizniz, ien jier lynNeeds option to prevent even loading the video without my okay (and the "okay" should be something difficult to accidentally trigger on the phone screen). Currently still allows sites to waste my data by pre-buffering a video I have no intention of watching.

no update since 5 years - Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch Firefox-brûker 15285519, 3 jierren lyndoes not work on youtube autoplay and it wants permission on your website browsing.
- Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch Firefox-brûker 17289459, 4 jierren lynI only have autoplay issues with one site. (Yahoo Finance) Firefox can block autoplay on initial load, but not when changing back and forth between tabs nor when scrolling up and down the page. After installing this add-on, it seems to help block autoplay when switching between tabs, but allowed autoplay when scrolling up and down the page. I believe Yahoo uses multiple triggers to force the videos to autoplay .. onHover, onFocus, etc. If it is updated to catch the other triggers, I will try it again.

Several extensions were disabled in Firefox while trying to track down the origin of the
"Oops! An unexpected problem occurred. Please refresh your browser."
messages when logged into cloud.oracle.com
Firefox 95.0.2 64 bit, the current latest version, on Windows 10.
This consistently occurs when choosing items from the menu at cloud.oracle.com
After disabling "Disable HTML5 Autoplay", the errors stopped.
Checking the Firefox Console, the error was always this url:
view-source:moz-extension://86436a12-f1b7-4665-ba83-101479f2641a/js/content_script.js
and this bit of code:
function injectScript() {
const domain = window.location.hostname;
const scriptFile = domain === 'www.youtube.com' || domain === 'gaming.youtube.com' ? 'youtube' : 'inject';
const script = document.createElement('script');
script.src = browser.extension.getURL(`js/${scriptFile}.js`);
document.documentElement.appendChild(script);
}
This code may be here due to numerous complaints about compatibility with youtube.
In any case, I have removed the extension, and the problems went away. - Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch Владимир, 4 jierren lynперестало работать--04,05,25 - Заработало..... пять мин спустя - Почти..... Еще пять мин спустя - Как было говно, так и осталось ГОВНОМ!!!

- Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch Firefox-brûker 13983075, 4 jierren lynSince the late 70s and well into the 80s currently version 88 of Firefox I had a problem with most videos displaying the following message:
"This video This video cannot be played because of a technical error.(Error Code: 200001)"
I have no proxy set and all drivers are current.
Researching I found many having same or similar problems but nobody having a solution.
That was until I came across a locked and archived forum thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/techsupport/comments/aday21/video_error/
The last reply, by "SlickStretch" was the correct answer and solution.
"solved by disabling the extension: 'Disable HTML5 Autoplay.' Try disabling/removing this extension or any similar ones." - Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch Firefox-brûker 16795487, 4 jierren lynThis used to work fine, but in the last few days it has started BLOCKING videos in Facebook and newspaper sites. Have to disable it in these sites if I want to see videos, but then they autoplay, which is precisely why I NEED the extension! The extension is now almost useless.
