A decent competitor and alternative to noscript. However it causes layout issues on some sites, like duckduckgo and startpage. E.g the text "The search engine that doesn't track you. Learn more" appears twice. This is with JS enabled. It's also a consistent issue, but if you refresh it disappears. Haven't found other websites with similar issues, I'm sure there are more.

Edit: Might the "google goes blank whenever a link is opened" issue on github be related to this? I don't know
And whenever you click on a link in duckduckgo it says "You are being redirected to the non-javascript version of the site". Excuse me, but I have it enabled! It doesn't actually do it, it's just a message.

Thanks for your review. The bug you've described was indeed a known, open bug.
However, I've published a patch release today (v2.2.3), so your local installation should hopefully update itself soon.

In the newest release the bug has been fixed. Please let me know in case you still would have this or any other issues with this web extension.

    This extension was working great but at some point I could no longer access sites that used cloudflare protection with this extension enabled. Obviously it wouldn't work without JavaScript but even after enabling JS on the site in question, it would still fail. Hopefully issue gets fixed.

    Offline pages (file:/// ...) do not appear to be considered by the extension.

    I wish though to test my own pages under both conditions – with and without Java-Script – before I publish them. It is still not clear to me if this is a bug or just something that the author chose to do this way.
    Please read the recommendation given by Didjo, further below. Dev tools is really all you need.

    To easily disable / enable JS on a page in Firefox :
    Open Dev tools (F12 / ⌘⌥I) → Debugger → Cog icon → Disable JS

    I can't see a button. I tried deleting some buttons from my tool bar to free up space but I still can't see it. I also tried ALT Shift 1 but I did not notice anything happening. The extension is on and I restarted firefox. Seeing the reviews, I am removing it.

    Support link no longer exists, archive from other user suggests this has in fact been transferred/sold onto other parties.

    I noticed it wasn't working for me today anymore for some reason so I'm removing it.

    I would suggest to exercise extreme caution if you intend to use this addon.

    Good, but not as great as it could be:

    The keyboard shortcut clashes with other add-ons, and cannot be changed

    If a site uses JavaScript to disable the context menu, then the context menu cannot be used to turn JavaScript off

    This plugin 2.3.2resigned1 contains malware! DELETE IT NOW! While using it, I have been blocked by many websites because of attempt of performing an attack. The official plugin is not maintained anymore and it's version 2.3.1
