Avast has done a great job for the last 14 years I've had it, one of the best free security add-ons of its kind!

I have used Avast products for years, and have never been disappointed. The only issue I have is their auto-renewal process, which dips into your account and removes their fees before letting you know they are going to do so, and not informing you what you paid for afterwards.

Very easy to install and use and I have never had a problem with viruses and malware.
