PIN Protection Data: For premium users who enable this feature, we store a secure, one-way encrypted (hashed) version of your 4-digit PIN. We never store the actual PIN itself and have no way to view it. This is used only to verify your identity when you access your protected lists.

Extension Settings: We store your preferences and configuration data to make the extension work properly for your account.

Payment Info: For premium users, we keep track of crypto payments to verify your upgrade.

Basic Technical Stuff: Sometimes we see error messages to help fix bugs and improve the extension.

   Third Parties: Google Firebase handles our data storage and has their own privacy rules.

2. Browser Permissions Explained

ClearTrace needs these permissions to work:

History: To clear browsing history for websites you want to block

Tabs: To see what website you're currently on

Storage: To remember your settings and blocked lists

Background: To run cleaning tasks when needed


Future Updates: New features might need additional permissions.

1. Age Requirement

You must be 18 or older to use ClearTrace. If you're under 18, please don't create an account. We don't intentionally collect information from minors.

ClearTrace is operated from Bangladesh. By using our service, you're okay with your data being processed there.

EU Users: You may have additional rights under GDPR, like data portability and deletion, which we'll honor when technically possible and legally required.
