    doesnt open pdfs when dragged into doqment tab, pdf just opens in a new tab or replaces doqment tab entirely. not even intended to open pdf links from google without you saving pdf to hard drive first, but at least the open option works from the toolbar.

    Hi xgum, thanks for the review. Please note that an extension page is like any other web app, you have to drag and drop files into the web page to load it in the app. If you drop them on top of the tab/address bar, the browser opens them directly; this is basic browser behaviour.

    It is indeed intended to open all PDF links from anywhere on the web (including Google) without having to save to hard drive. Please open a detailed bug report on 🔗https://github.com/shivaprsd/doqment/issues🔗 if it is not working for you. Thanks!

    Hi Djunbao, thanks for the review! Can you edit your review to clarify the use case of a right-click menu? Doqment already directly opens all PDF links if you just click them, and it is the same as the default Firefox viewer if you turn off Reader Mode from the toolbar. Thanks!

    I've never left a review here, but this extension is too good! As a researcher, I need to read a lot of academic papers. It performs better than all the dark mode from other professional PDF viewers. It looks better than Zotero, Highlights, and Skim, with more comfortable contrast and color saturation, and it embeds annotations onto the PDF automatically! (which is a hassle in Zotero and Skim) Thank you so much for saving my eyes!

    The extension is great but it should be synch to the system dark/light mode switch and it should be able to open pdf files without drag-and-drop.

    Hello! It should sync to the system dark/light mode if your Firefox theme is also set to System theme and also privacy.resistFingerprinting is set to False in about:config (if it still doesn't work can you please open a bug on GitHub?).

    The drag-and-drop is needed because Firefox simply doesn't allow extensions to access your local files. These are all Firefox quirks that extensions cannot work around.

    pdfにカラーテーマを適用し閲覧できるpdfリーダーです。
    基本的にはfirefox標準のPDFリーダーと同じように機能しますがリーダーのツールバーにReader mode optionのアイコンが追加されており、これをクリックするとカラーテーマを選択できます。

    注意点としては、firefoxのセキュリティ制限により拡張機能が実行されているタブでしかpdfを閲覧できず、pdfファイルを開くことで拡張機能を利用した閲覧ができるわけではありません。拡張機能のメニュー(もしくはツールバーにピン留めされたアイコン)から拡張機能を開き、PDFをドラッグ&ドロップで開く必要があります。

    ただ、これはあくまでfirefoxの制限による仕様ですので、不便ではありますが仕方がないかなと思います。
    十分に有用な拡張機能です。

    As good as it gets! This Add-On includes all needed elements to directly handle PDF documents available in the net.

    Addendum:
    An additional useful feature could be to have a look at the fonts which are used (and probably embedded) in the viewed PDF as in most standalone PDF viewers.

    Far superior to the Adobe Acrobat Official which can't leave you alone to do what you planned on doing. (Read the document.) This is straightforward, what one expects, from a document viewer. Thanks much!

    The Addon has been workign great but im going for 4 stars as its suddenly stopped working. I'm using Floorp and am unsure if this is dur to a floorp update or microsoft update. Hope this can be patched

    Can I just say awesome? I've tried 'Dark PDF' extensions before which are limited and finnicky at best. The benefit of customizable PDF rendering schemes which WORK to make it both dark AND readable, or beige/sepia, or back to white, packaged as a subtle built-in feature of the default PDF reader for the browser is amazing. Totally underrated and single-handedly makes me glad to be using Firefox over Chrome.
