Does not do anything at all with FF 50.0.2/Linux, x64. Seems to be unmaintained. Since nobody seems to notice that it's completely broken, it's safe to assume that nobody gives a cent if it is secure. Sorry, Evernote. It just didn't work out with us...

Making use of a password safe, keepass, I have to look up an d fill in my credentials every time again, as I use very long generated passwords unable to remember.
As of the latest version I am getting ClearClick warnings.

When I try to sign in plugin return very informative message "Unknown error". When I click create account "Error_Network_Unavailable" error occurred.
So this plugin completely broken under FF linux.

I was unable to use the plugin in Firefox for most of 2016, but so far I have the 6.9.3 plug-in working great on two Macs. (Using Firefox Developer Edition 52.0a2 though I don't know if that makes a difference -- my previous problems were across various Firefox versions)

Clipping just does not work any longer: operation never compltes...
Poor Evernote team they never learned the "if it is not broken don't fix it" statement.

I like Firefox and I like Evernote, but the immortal Quick start tab is really annoying. However, I discovered that I really enjoy Opera again and Evernote seems to work fine.

Yes .. if for nostalgia sake .. you miss those irritating as hell pop ups and unders .. this will be an awesome app ..
The best part .. you CANNOT disable them!

The only saving grace is that the clipping is pretty decent.

Temporary fix for Evernote web clipper: steps
1. Remove Evernote web clipper Version 6.10.2beta1
2. Select and install Evernote web clipper e.g., Version 6.2.0

It consumes a lot of ressources and slowdown my computer.

An extension should be almost invisible, or only visible when called upon. This one recently wants my attention at every start of the browser. A new "welcome" tab greets me each time, and frankly I don't have that much love for it.

Like others, I am disabling this addon, mostly for the annoying Firefox extra tab at startup, and also because I agree with others about not wanting my saved data being required to be sent to the cloud.

The new 'web extension' version doesn't work on current Firefox running on up-to-date Ubuntu 14.04.5.

Can not log in to Web Clipper.
It says 「不明錯誤」.

No way to avoid the Evernote's tutorial as a second homepage if you are not loged in and and there is no option to keep you loged in.

It seems this is a problem that the complement has every while.

The Web Clipper App was one of the outstanding features of this programm. If this did not work any more, I can use any other programm for my basic notebook requirements.

I did not set Evernote's tutorial as a homepage and there is no option to turn it off! To make it worse, I cannot login to this plugin anymore, making it useless.

So, I guess I am disabling it until such time the developers turn the tutorial popup OFF and fix the login issue. I was trying to get into using Evernote, but that is hard to do when my main source of making notes is broken and annoying me every time I open my browser.

I use Evernote Clipper and uBlock Origin.
the entry "||evernote.com^$third-party" in Fanboy's Annoyance List block Clipper connect to evernote server.

Really useful, but annoying to use.
* Please enable clipping to local app.
* Please enable (as in chrome ext) "create new notebook" in drop down.
Please make it possible to register username and password in evernote-settings in about:addons. It is so frustrating to log in every time.

It looks like Evernote has again decided removed the ability to clip to the local app, instead forcing everyone to clip to the website. They did this years ago, but backtracked after all the negative reaction, which they are getting again.

Long ago, their add-on used to be rated 4.5-5 stars. Then they removed local clipping and all the negative reviews dropped it down to 3 stars. They did it again, and I wouldn't be surprised if the rating drops to 1 star.

Evernote, learn from your mistakes. Re-enable local clipping!

I have downgraded to Version 6.2.0 to regain access to local clipping.

This used to be a useful add-on. Now, it opens a quick-start tab every time I restart FF, makes me sign in every time instead of remembering, and doesn't remember my settings so every time I log in I have to go fix them again.

I'm so very, very glad I didn't fall for their "get premium" scam when they added restrictions to free users, because I see that paid users are having the same issues. Another good app ruined, probably by bean-counters.
