I initially had a bumpy start, with the "Connect" button not launching the new auth key creation dialog when clicked, and later with the connection to KeePassXC timing out repeatedly and inexplicably at random intervals. However, all was well after disabling the `KeePassHTTP-Connector` extension and restarting both the browser and KeePassXC.
Otherwise, the extension works perfectly and operates unobtrusively in the background. It is very convenient for KeePassXC users, especially for Linux users within a Wayland desktop session where the global auto-type only works in X11. This new KeePassXC browser integration improves upon and supplants the older KeePassHTTP technology while remaining as easy to use day-to-day as ever. Very nice! - Wurdearring: 5 fan 5troch Firefox-brûker 13822776, 7 jierren lynFinally using KeePass isn´t a mess anymore. Thank you so much for your work!

It's connecting over STDIN rather than HTTP, and an overzealous sandbox is going to have some trouble with that. I think part of the problem might have been that I was blocking the /tmp directory where the KeePassXC socket lives, so if anyone is having the same niche issue, try unblocking that.
Anyway, my several minutes of sandbox fumbling aside, this has been a great successor to PassIFox and KeePassHTTP-Connector so far. I love that KeePassXC now has a "match URL scheme" option, so I would have passwords filled on say, "https://google.com" and not "http://google.com", and I appreciate that it doesn't autofill by default and tends to require me to click a bit in the username field first, unless I configure it otherwise. It's an ideal balance between convenience and security. I hope to see this add-on carry on for years. - Wurdearring: 5 fan 5troch returntrip, 7 jierren lynWorks amazingly well. Previous comments with one star rating are obviously not following the documentation and installing the beta version of the client. I think it is time to say bye bye to Lastpass!
Testing on ArchLinux, with FFox 57. - Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch Firefox-brûker 13096605, 7 jierren lynDoesn't connect to KEEPASSXC database:

7 jierren lyn pleatstAs stated in the description, you need KeePassXC 2.3.0-beta1. Please check that this is the case. It won't work with 2.2.4. - Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch Mav, 7 jierren lynDoes not connect to KeepassXC at all. Tried as much as possible, confirmed KeepassXC has an open port running on 19455. Added local port rules for it, and even completely disabled firewall (TinyWall) but this Firefox extension does not see it. The only error status it shows is " Timeout or not connected to KeePassXC ".
The only documentation is found on the github page, but nothing on troubleshooting to find out what's wrong.Antwurd ûntwikkeler
7 jierren lyn pleatstCurrently this extension needs a development build of KeePassXC. The current stable build is not yet supported. The info text has been added to the extension page. Sorry for the confusion. A build that works with the extension will be released soon. Thanks.
