- Wurdearring: 5 fan 5troch Carlos Pinzón, 10 moannen lynThis app is very solid. The functionality that this extension provides requires a special installation method and the extension instructions make this complex process simple. Once installed, everything is very easy.
I think that the default behavior should be to reuse existing windows instead of creating new instances, though this can be configured in the browser settings within each web app.
For me this app is a must have. I have several fixed google documents per month that I open and edit very frequently every day. Having this plus a system launcher (like albert launcher) simplifies my work a lot. - Wurdearring: 5 fan 5troch Mathias, 10 moannen lynThis AddOn is awsome! You have a lot of option when setting up a PWA and the browser settings of each PWA profile are separate from each other and from the main browser.
- Wurdearring: 5 fan 5troch James, 10 moannen lynI installed this add-on after reading a Mozilla Developer Network article about Progressive Web Applications. I have a disdain for monopolies, so this allowed me to use a semi-officially endorsed method to install web apps via Firefox instead of using a Chromium based web browser. Perhaps someday Mozilla will decide to directly incorporate this extension as an integral component of Firefox.
All the web apps I have installed (some on Windows 11, some on Fedora, some on Debian) work as expected with no noticeable glitches. - Wurdearring: 5 fan 5troch Um, 10 moannen lyn[Fixed] [Fedora 40] Web App goes blank. Can't use as before.UI seems buggy
[How] Reinstall firefoxpwa first, then reinstall firefox from fedora rpm - Wurdearring: 5 fan 5troch Dat_Random_Fur, 10 moannen lyn
- Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch Jorge, ien jier lynIn the last day, none of the PWA apps are opening. I followed the procedure recommended in the recent report here in the reviews, I installed the firefoxpwa-2.12.1-x86_64 version because I couldn't find the native installer that was mentioned on github, but it still didn't work.
I believe this happened after this last update of Firefox (131.0 (64-bits)).

ien jier lyn pleatstYes, it's related to Firefox 131 and has only been fixed in PWAsForFirefox 2.12.5.
I can't link it directly because URLs are not allowed here, but if you go to the GitHub repository, you should see PWAsForFirefox 2.12.5 on the right side under the releases section. Then, open the release and you should be able to download firefoxpwa-2.12.5-x86_64.msi under the assets section. - Wurdearring: 5 fan 5troch Phillip Simons, ien jier lyn
- Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch Guerrini, ien jier lynDidn't work. I only get blank windows for all apps I installed. (Win11).
Update- Even after downloading the "firefoxpwa-2.12.5-x86_64.msi" I couldn't get it to work. I tried removing the extention and fresh installing, but no luck.Antwurd ûntwikkeler
ien jier lyn pleatstPlease download the native program v2.12.5 from GitHub releases in the repository (specifically,
firefoxpwa-2.12.5-x86_64.msi).
Update: If you still have problems after updating to 2.12.5, make sure that the native version mentioned in the extension settings (About the project) is also 2.12.5. If it's not, uninstall the native program from the system settings and try again. You can also try to run "Patch profiles and runtime" from the extension settings. - Wurdearring: 5 fan 5troch Tim, ien jier lyn

- Wurdearring: 5 fan 5troch Firefox-brûker 14720242, ien jier lynthank you so much for this, it solves several issues i had on streamlining pwa usage on my fedora/gnome.
- Wurdearring: 4 fan 5troch xalente, ien jier lynGreat extension. Though, weird issue happens to me when I pin them to the taskbar (Windows 11), it reverts to the Firefox icon. Also, it would be great in the future if we could add the web apps to the Windows Start Menu.
Edit to answer the reply: Yes, the behavior (reverting to the Firefox icon when pinned to the taskbar) happens with all the web apps (I created 10).Antwurd ûntwikkeler
ien jier lyn pleatstDoes it happen with all PWAs or just specific ones? If it's just some, it might be because they're using SVG icons, which aren't fully supported currently. That will be fixed in the future. - Wurdearring: 5 fan 5troch Firefox-brûker 14789689, ien jier lynI was so very disappointed that I couldn't turn my favorite web based email program, which doesnt offer a desktop app, into a web app the way you can in MS Edge. After installing a couple of necessary support pieces .. this works like a CHARM! My Web based email now works as well as any desktop application.
