Why did the developer or developers decide to do one of the dumbest redesigns? I don't buy the based on user input BS. Typical statement made by poor developer design. Yes I've done website and app design. Put the "Pause Ghostery" button back when you click on the icon. It's quicker vs going into the settings. Like why? I need to be able to quickly toggle the pause frequently and now it's more clicks for zero reasons. I can still pause my UBlock Origin that way right on the icon click. But in it's place you tell the user where to go find it. We want the pause button back!

I don't even remember when I started using Ghostery. It's been so useful that I just forget that it's even there.

I have used Ghostery for so long. It has blocked various ads and trackers, making feel safe while being on the internet. However, I think recently the extension had gone through an update of some sort. After the update, it has not been blocking any ads and there are so many pop ups. If this continues to happen, I might consider using a different extension.

For about two weeks embedded 'Youtube' videos will not play on any websites. Filed a detailed report on Ghostery Support Page and have not had any response (That was a huge waste of time!). Worked great for years. Give it another day or two before I completely remove it. UPDATE: Support couldn't replicate. Asked for screenshot and other routine nonsense (I thought they were going to ask me to unplug Youtube and plug it back in! ) Never asked if I was signed into Youtube. That was the problem. CAN'T BE SIGNED INTO YOUTUBE. The only way around it is to turn-off AD TRACKING "globally" (every website) The specific Youtube site "exceptions" don't work as they should. I wonder how many people have this problem and just simply give up without contacting support and remove GHOSTERY. Might be many. One percent would be 10,000. Nah..I'm sure it's just me.

Ghostery is a great anti-track and anti-ad tool with abundant possibilities to adjust it to your needs. But it works already great just out of the box.
The support is marvelous.

unfortunately it no longer blocks adds. Already submitted the screenshots before developer replies asking for them.

I'm also not buying hiding pause button deep into the settings was requested by users "forgetting to unpause" At least make it configurable?... Especially since there were already options easily accessible for "pause for X minutes" which could've been defaulted, instead of hiding the pause option.

all in all one of my favourite extensions gone completely now. good job.

The new v10 is broken, it isn't blocking anything. The new UI doesn't add anything but more clicks. Pause is now buried in a full page settings page that is full of white space and completely unnecessary. The time choice for pause has been removed. Trash update.

Works great, but they have moved pause button to a difficult to reach place making it useless. Please put it back.

Ever since the most recent update, it's had trouble detecting ads/trackers/etc on some sites. It'll say 'zero' and I'll get in-page popups and banner ads anyway. Also rather dislike that the 'restrict site' option appears to be missing now.

Probably still good, but they're losing the plot. It's unwieldy to go through the settings and even then you still don't know if the trackers are up to date. I had an account there but I wanted to change the password. Nope! You can change the email but not the compromised password. I tried a new account but some standard symbols aren't accepted. Good luck. I'd rather have the old version.
