It makes no network requests — the pronunciation engine, dictionary (CC-CEDICT), and HSK data are bundled in the extension and run entirely on your device. Your settings (transcription system, tone-color options, per-site on/off) are saved locally through the browser's storage API and never leave your browser. No analytics, no tracking, no accounts.
