As I've gotten older, I've become a type of person who is the opposite of a "morning person". Right now I'm unemployed and I have a lot of people who still have jobs on Linkedin. When I wake up in the morning, I have a tendency to click into Linkedin and get a nasty dose of their smugness in my "feed". I've opted to block linkedin until after noon, when I'm more mentally focused and have thicker skin against that stuff. Honestly some of the things I see on Linkedin trigger my PTSD from a terrible job loss I recently had. The less time I spend on something like that, the better. I really like how it has the "override" function, where if I need to search for a few jobs or something like that, I can still unblock it for that temporarily.

Finally, I really like the ability to "write a message to yourself" that pops up when it blocks. I put something there that was inspiring and uplifting.

Really good. I recommend only allowing yourself social media in certain days/hours and have it blocked most of the time.
