It doesn't limit you to only downloading small filesizes, or watermark images or any of the other annoying things other freemium services do to try and get you to upgrade ─ just limits the frequency with which you can use it.

As for download speed, it depends on the speed of the target website. Since all content is downloaded directly from the source, Locoloader cannot affect this speed.
