PRIVACY POLICY

1. What We Collect: When you select text and choose "Explain with AI", the selected text and surrounding paragraph are sent to our servers for analysis. We do not collect browsing history, personal information, or any data without your explicit action.
2. How We Process: Your text is analyzed using AWS Bedrock (Claude AI). AWS Bedrock does not train on your prompts or store your data beyond processing.
3. Data Retention: Submitted text is stored for 30 days to enable features like conversation history, then automatically deleted. We never sell your data or use it to train AI models.
4. Your Rights (GDPR/CCPA): You may request immediate deletion of your data via the DELETE /my-data endpoint while logged in. Data is also automatically purged after 30 days.
5. Permissions: We request only permissions strictly necessary: reading selected text on the active tab when you invoke the extension.
