    Very nice but I wish it were more like the recent Chrome version. What's here is grand though!

    It works just as its cousin on Chrome, however I had to deduct a star because it only plays the default New Leaf song. The Chrome version I had been introduced to had more options ranging from New Leaf (Rain), (Snow), as well as having KK Slider sing on Saturdays. And you were able to customize the O'Clock bell chime to your liking.
    I'm sad that its not the same for this version. I hope in the future they find a way to bring those features into FireFox.

    Love this add-on. would love to see more with other animal crossing games soundtracks

    I'm really liking having the option to play some sweet Animal Crossing tunes when I want to, so thanks! Only problem I am having is that the options don't seem to be saving for me. I keep turning off notifications and they keep coming back.

    Perfect background music for any situation, intuitive & easy to use!

    Would LOVE the option to add Weather --> aka play current time with rain / storm

    Tried this on FF Quantum. The music would play fine when I load up the browser but after 10 seconds, it would stop and the icon in the toolbar would be completely greyed out. Clicking on it doesn't do anything, and neither does disabling, refreshing, or reinstalling. Overall, if this actually worked, it would be a 4/5 from me. It doesn't have as many options as other similar AC music add-ons I've used on Chrome (i.e. can switch between different game soundtracks, KK songs, etc).

    Update: The add-on is now working the day after though I haven't changed any settings whatsoever. Probably just a strange glitch!

    I've tested Animal Forest BGM on Firefox (Beta) 57 and am unable to reproduce this issue! My first thought is that this might have to do with the automatic media playback detection feature. Try disabling that feature and see if the issue persists. If it disappears, check to see if any of your tabs or other WebExtensions emit or are capable of emitting audio-- that might be the cause!

    I'll attempt to reproduce your issue on Firefox (Stable) 57 and let you know if I am able to reproduce this issue. If you're running a version of Firefox other than 57, please let me know so that I can test it with the appropriate version!

    It works like a charm! Once I read about an extension on Chrome where you can browse the internet while Animal Crossing music played I just had to go and download it! But I was bummed that there was no such extension for Firefox until today! This extension has some features that the extension on Chrome didn't, music starts off where it was paused and has smooth transition for the music! I'm a bit sad that this extension doesn't have the option to make your own tunes of your town and music from previous Animal Crossing games as the Chrome one but no biggie. This is an awesome extension and I'm glad to be able to hear music to my favorite game! Thank you!

    The music plays just fine. Thanks! I like that there is an icon at the top that you can just click to turn the music off (or rather pause) as you please.

    My boyfriend has this for Chrome, sadly Chrome has never worked for me so I use firefox. this does not work in firefox. I see the last update was in 2016 - please update this to function in modern firefox. very disappointing, very unhappy.

    I thought I'd tire of it easily but man I can never get enough Animal Crossing music. I just wish that there was more music from other games.

    I'm glad to hear that you've been enjoying the add-on. Alternate soundtracks are a popular feature request, and there are plans to implement them in a future release! 2.1.0 will be introducing the alternative weather soundtracks from New Leaf, so those should be arriving in the near future.

    I have used this extension for ever and it no longer works with modern versions of firefox.

    Simply doesn't play any music at all. I'm on 64 bit Firefox 52.0
