Data Collection & Usage
The Bluesky Comments Reader is designed with privacy as a priority.

No Personal Data: We do not collect names, email addresses, or browsing history.

No Tracking: We do not use cookies or tracking pixels to follow your behavior.

Local Processing: All code for rendering the "Replies" panel runs locally in your browser.

Third-Party Services
The extension communicates directly with the official Bluesky Public API (https://public.api.bsky.app) to fetch the replies you see when hovering over a post.

No data is sent to any other third-party servers.

No account authorization (OAuth) or login credentials are required or stored.

Data Storage
The extension uses a temporary, in-memory cache to make the experience faster (so it doesn't fetch the same replies twice in one session). This data is wiped as soon as you refresh the page or close your browser.

Changes to This Policy
Since this is a lightweight tool, any changes to how it works will be updated here. However, our "no-collection" stance is a core feature.
