Used to work amazing but the new update kind of broke it. Some bookmarks will overwrite others unexpectedly or you can't switch from one bookmark to another. Used to be top tier, though

Used to work okay, but after the last update the keyboard shortcut stopped working. I tried to get it working again and it will switch bookmark bars again from a keyboard shortcut, but it also keeps duplicating bars, wiping out bookmarks, and just hanging where it won't work at all for several attempts. I can still switch from the menu but it's much more annoying that way. The weird behaviors makes the plugin feel very sketchy.

Pretty buggy, if you have only one computer it works fine, but switching between two computer can sometimes makes them not sync, and create fake/ghost profile. I almost lost a ton of bookmarks. Also the 'not synchronize profile' is also buggued, I wanted to have a profile A on my home computer and profile B on my Work computer, and it started to create a ton of fake profile. the way this add on work is by copying and deleting bookmark from bookmark folder to another, but it should keep the original copy in the switcher folder to not mangled with firefox own bookmark synchro

I very much wanted this plugin to work - I do different work on my different computers and want a different "Bookmarks Toolbar" on each one. It *mostly* worked between my Mac and Windows boxes, but never quite worked with my Linux machine. Not sure how/why (seems pretty straightforward), but it would move bookmarks between groups or duplicate them. I backed up beforehand (as suggested) and never really lost anything, but I'm amazed I didn't. Guessing there's something buggy with the way the groups are indexed and/or synced between computers. Maybe I need to shut down all my browsers but one, install, setup, sync and then try installing on the others.

Very usefull to keep a distinction between work, hobbies and other bookmarks. However sometimes it gets bugged and mixes the various bookmarks from different toolbars

Do exactly what it is supposed to do, no more no less, and it was exactly what I was looking for.
It supports perfectly Firefox Sync between devices.

Seems cool, but I'm not sure how to add bookmarks to the new bars that I made? I have a work one, and an AI one, I'm on Firefox on Mac. Edit: I found it, I just had to restart firefox.

EDIT: Doesn't seem to be a way to reply to reponses, so I'll just edit my review. No, in this case your extension deleted my book marks. I swapped from one bar to another, but both bars were empty and so I lost all the bookmarks on both my bars I had setup. I looked everywhere in my bookmark manager but they were not in the switcher folders. Luckily I had a back up, but this is very inconvenient.

Nickel, fonctionne parfaitement. Concernant le Alt+ Espace, il m'affiche également une petite fenêtre par défaut mais en changeant le raccourci (dans about:addons comme indiqué par le développeur) c'est réglé. Merci beaucoup, très bon travail !

Bonjour Florent, génial ton module, je recherchais cela depuis un moment. Seulement j'ai un petit soucis le raccourci alt space ne fonctionne pas. Cela m'ouvre une petite fenêtre en relation avec la taille de fenêtre ( réduire agrandir...déplacer fermer...) Merci encore pour ton travail ;)

This is something I didn't know I needed! Switches quickly, great to keep work/home bookmarks separate. But when switching back/forth between bookmark bars, my folders are move/out of order including the separators.

Looks like it could be a viable replacement for Bookmark Bar Switcher from Chrome with a little more development. Only being able to toggle between two different bookmark bars is limiting though. I'd like to have a list to select from i.e Household, Business, Personal etc

There are some issues, for example,
sometimes it sorts bookmarks and folders randomly after switching,
and sometimes it moves all bookmarks to single bar when I add new bookmark to bar.

Update (04.05.2021): random sort still occurs. The second bug is probably gone. New feature with multiple bars is awesome.
