Works like it should. :)

It open the specific URL (wikipedia in my case) and focuses an empty address-bar.
it just lacks the title of the the newly opend tab (it shows "new tab" instead of "wikipedia") ...but thats negligible.

For security reasons it's not possible to set the title automatically but I've just published v0.3.0 which lets you manually set the title from the options page.

Does exactly what I want, without requiring access to anything sensitive (like my browser history, or data entered into any web page)

Очень,очень классное и нужное расширение!!!!! Можно вписывать адрес любых онлайн закладок и они всегда будут как стартовая страница. Года 3 я этим расширением пользуюсь в опере и вполне доволен. Рекомендую воспользоваться.Не пожалеете.

Works great! Much better than New Tab Override. I like being able to start typing after opening the tab.

The Quantum update broke the extension I've been using. This was the first one I found that works in the new Firefox. Seems to work great, lightning fast, and the address bar handling is much cleaner.

I'm not sure why the instructions show "To set your custom new tab URL after installing the extension: Open `about:addons`..."

I just put my choice in the "New Tab URL" box and it worked.
