מועד פרסום: לפני 3 שניםThis highly misleading. Yes, DTA has that "Access your data for all websites" permission. It is required to make the "DownThemAll! All Tabs" feature work. Without it, DTA would only able to work on the presently active tab.
I'd rather have a more fine-grained permission, but that isn't offered by the browsers.
Anyway, the privacy policy clearly states that DTA does not collect any data, it does in fact not collect any data, and the add-on is open source so you can check that for yourself, the code inside the shipped package is not minified so you can check it as well.
Furthermore each version is reviewed by mozilla, and actually reviewed thoroughly as a requirement for getting the recommended badge. "Stealing" user data would be against mozilla policy and they wouldn't approve such an add-on. Not that I ever would do such a thing, and I've been doing DTA since 2006 so I have a little bit of a track record of NOT stealing user data.
So, use the add-on or don't. But please do not insinuate falsehoods.

- Reading the 1-star reviews I think many people are misunderstanding the purpose of this extension. It is designed to provide a way to download multiple files of those which a website owner has provided for download. It is not designed to detect and download things like YouTube videos which the website owner has not enabled for download. If you can't click to download it using normal browser functions (e.g. click or right-click), you can't download it using DTA. That is not what it was made for. There are others that enable that. With that in mind, this extension is very useful to make downloading multiple downloadable files very easy to do. I especially like the download selection feature.

I was able to download a huge backlog of images I had from a website starting with P (wait no, not that one)
As a note, this app won't give you the ability to download anything you couldn't normally. A lot of 1 star reviews are complaining that it doesn't let you download videos on various sites like YT.
