This information is sent securely over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection to our server (https://www.google.com/search?q=api.gyyft.com) solely for the purpose of authenticating your account and verifying your identity. We do not store your password in the extension.
2. Data Collected Automatically:
   
   Product Information: When you click the "Add Item" button on a product page, the extension's core function is to read (scrape) the following information from that page: the product's title, price, image URL, and the page URL itself. This information is then sent to our server to be added to the wishlist you have selected.
   
   Anonymized Interaction Data: The extension does not collect personal browsing history. We only interact with a webpage when you explicitly activate the extension by clicking the "Add Item" button.
3. Data Storage and Usage:
   
   Local Storage: We use the browser's local storage to save your preference for your most recently selected wishlist. This is done to improve your experience by pre-selecting it for you the next time you use the extension. We do not store any other personal information locally.
   
   Server-Side Storage: All scraped product information and wishlist data is stored securely on our servers, associated with your Gyyft account. This is necessary to sync your wishlists across your devices and our web application.
4. Data Sharing:

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information or scraped data with any third-party companies or services. All data collected is used exclusively to provide and improve the Gyyft wishlist service.
