Privacy policy — Remove Multi Titles (YouTube)

What this extension does

It remembers the video title you see the first time (on the player or in a list tile) and keeps showing that same title if YouTube tries to show a different one later (for example during A/B tests). Everything needed for that happens on your device.

Data we collect

None. There are no accounts, no analytics, and no requests to our servers. We do not receive your browsing data. The extension does not transmit the titles it stores to us or to any third party.

Where information is stored

Pinned titles are stored only in your browser’s local extension storage (the extension storage API). They stay on your device and are not synced or uploaded by this extension.

Permissions

• YouTube (*://*.youtube.com/*): The extension only runs on YouTube so it can read and adjust title text on the watch/Shorts player and on list-style layouts (home, search, related, etc.). It does not run on other websites.
• Storage: Used only to save and read those pinned titles locally.
• Web navigation: Used only so the extension can detect when the main YouTube page URL changes (including in-page navigation) and tell the content script to re-apply pinned titles. It is not used to track you across sites or to send data anywhere.

If this policy changes in a future version, the updated text will be published at the same public URL you use for store listings, with an updated date at the top.
