Such an absolutely great extension, and completely baffling that it has so few users. As opposed to the most used youtube extensions, that one is fast, not buggy and has plenty of features (the most used lacks the latter, the second most used lacks the two formers). Thanks so much: you made youtube really more usable!

Edit: first problem I've had is it doesn't remember going into theater mode so well, so I've had to add the extension Theater Mode for YouTube. It'd be best if Tweaks for Youtube could do that well on its own, but with that added extension, it's OK.

I found this after someone mentioned it could stop the scroll down annoyance with space bar scrolling on youtube (set the keybind for pause to space in this to fix it). I thought I would need to switch to chrome but was glad to learn that is not the case.

thanks to incompetent people and apple products(?) and the lack of monitors or headphones for sound mixing, we get artificially boosted low frequencies - for that alone, this extension is worth installing in your browser. it would be great to expand these settings to individual channels. the second best thing is that this extension doesn’t make page rendering in firefox freak out!

Best Youtube tweaker addon

Just want to say this extension is incredible. There's an unbelievable amount of features that are so useful, I love it.

That said, the last few weeks I've been getting MAJOR slowdown on YouTube while this extension is active. Any buttons presses or inputs are delayed, sometimes by a full second or more. The issue is alleviated by restarting Firefox but after a couple hours it eventually comes back up. Totally possible it could just be something on my end but the fact that it only happens while the extension is active makes me think it could be a more wide-spread issue.

Still giving this 5 stars because it deserves it, but I wanted to bring that up in hopes that the developer will see it and check it out.

Giving even 5 out of 5 is a crime when it wouldn't even begin how great this is. Wish every application was like this add-on.

Wish there was a more direct way of submitting feedback to know if an issue has been identified or sent before. Only support is email, and I haven't gotten back to yet after a few weeks. Apparently general support is a perk of the paid Patreon tiers, that's... weird.
All this to say the Playlist Duration is hidden on YouTube's playlist pages after a recent UI update. Sucks to have to request a fix like this in an extension review, but I legit don't know where else to take this. (Not spending $1 just to say "feature broke, plz fix")
My qualms with lack of support and the code not being open-source aside, this works much better than "Improve YouTube!" imo. (Better not let the dev for that hear this, or they'll get real mad)

The number of features is staggering. There is something for everyone—too much to list in this comment; you have to try it yourself.
Amazingly, every option is explained via tooltips, so you know what to expect. The UI has a clean and elegant style, something that browser addons often fail to achieve. After finalizing your settings, you can export them and easily apply them to any device and browser.

I was using YouTube Enhancer before, which had a fraction of the settings that this extension offers, and some of them didn't even work!
Frankly, the former looks like a joke when put next to this one.

These should be the official YouTube settings, and the author should be employed by Google, collecting big paychecks. This addon simply feels like a part of YouTube.

Take a video snapshot (copy to clipboard) does not work. It says it copied to the clipboard, but it doesn't.

Good when it works, but half of the time it just doesn't.

love being able to set my own custom amount of time to skip forward/backward instead of the default 10 seconds! Works great on 2024 still
