🔒 Privacy Policy — Visual Dial 2.0

Visual Dial 2.0 does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data.
All information used by the extension is stored locally in your browser and never leaves your device.
Data Storage

The extension stores the following data locally only:

Bookmark tiles (title, URL, custom image)

Folder structure

User settings (background, search engine, layout preferences)


This data is saved using IndexedDB and browser.storage.local, both of which remain entirely on your device.
No Data Collection

Visual Dial 2.0:

does not collect analytics

does not track browsing activity

does not send any information to external servers

does not use cookies

does not include third‑party tracking scripts


External Requests

The extension may optionally request:

website favicons

preview images (if enabled)


These requests are made directly from your browser to the target service and are not logged or processed by Visual Dial 2.0.
Permissions

The extension uses:

bookmarks — to display your bookmarks visually

storage — to save local settings

tabs / activeTab — to open bookmarks

host_permissions — only for favicon/preview fetching.


No personal data is collected through these permissions.
