There is an option for "Light Badge" in the settings for dark themes. Give that setting a try and it should fix your issue.

Same thing happened with a sizeable snow a couple days ago. This extension goes in the trash.

Also shows the sun is shining when it's raining. It also doesn't update the temperature. And now there is an annoying dark sky pop up that you can't get rid of.

Didn't take up too much room and was perfect. Now, we don't care for it and have uninstalled. It is a shame people have to change everything when it was great already. They think they make it better, but don't.
