od Korisnik Firefoxa 18807293, prije 7 mjeseciEdit: Thanks to Bitwarden for the response which has resolved one of my issues, partially, because this is not the default and the settings state is not replicated everywhere I have to set this setting in every browser and every account (so work and personal, all browsers). My issue about the cursor not starting in the search box seems to have been fixed/added so that's great, now there's just the UX decision to combine the password/username into a dropdown as a complaint.

The recent update to the addon has introduced a huge UX degredation, instead of a single click to get the password to fill in a desktop application login prompt you now have to hit the smaller copy button and then accurately hit the copy password from the selection box options.
Also, the cursor doesn't automatically start in the search box after authentication anymore, this is really annoying as it forces me to every morning log in and then with the mouse select the search box so that I can get to my email password entry, so that I can then have to select the copy button where I then have to now select the copy password so that I can log into my email because my corporate email account times out authentication after 12 hours (and sometimes, for some reason, multiple times per day).
Also, you now have to hit the small fill button instead of the whole item to get the browser to fill in the details. This is a reverse of what you used to have to do as now clicking the item results in the screen to view the information in the item where you can edit from. I use this far less than I use filling the details so I find this also a big step backwards in UX and looking at the recent reviews it seems clear that they have introduced a lot of UX friction that users are not happy with.

objavljeno prije 7 mjeseciHi. Check under Bitwarden Settings > Autofill > "Click items to autofill on Vault view" and Bitwarden Settings > Appearance > "Show quick copy actions on Vault" if you want to restore previous functionality that you may prefer.

- Ocijenjeno s 4 od 5od Pitt, prije 12 danaThe last few days when I login with the master P/W Firefox freezes and the cpu utilization goes up. I can only kill it through task manager.
It works fine in Edge and Crome
Please fix it. - Ocijenjeno s 5 od 5od Arman Async, prije 12 dana

- Ocijenjeno s 4 od 5od ohwnez, prije 12 danaCritical issue. Like other recent reviews note, the current version of Bitwarden is unusable and even detrimental. Logging in triggers a runaway process that uses more and more memory and CPU cycles. I am forced to kill Firefox in the task manager before I can do anything else on my computer. A single browser extension using 7+ GB of memory is not normal.
UPDATE: Works as expected again with version 2025.7.1 (so far). Rating changed accordingly. - Ocijenjeno s 1 od 5od Marc, prije 12 danaThe developers seem to to be testing their extension at all, as since the latest update, the extension freezes completely on every single installation I've seen.
- Ocijenjeno s 1 od 5od Twist3r, prije 12 danaTrying to use the Bitwarden Extension in August 2025, it caused Firefox to freeze for 10+ second for any operation, and the extension didn't even work - trying to fill in a password would just cause a 15+seconds freeze, and after that the password was not even filled. Disabling the Bitwarden extension caused Firefox to become lightning fast again as usual, immediately, so this was really a problem with the Bitwarden extension. This is totally unusable and unacceptable, and very sad as Bitwarden is a great service. The extension worked perfectly the last time I used it a few months ago, so this is a new issue (in the meantime I was using the Windows App, which works fine). I really hope this will get fixed quickly.
- Ocijenjeno s 1 od 5od Korisnik Firefoxa 14609807, prije 13 danaLatest update is completely bugged. The whole extension goes into panic mode when you first try to log in. Have to restard the whole browser to fix for now... Needs a critical update asap it's non functional as is
- Ocijenjeno s 1 od 5od Moamar, prije 14 danaThe last update do not work properly the add-on icon still in gray colour and when I enter the password to unlock the vault it causes Firefox to shutdown accidentally fix that please
- Ocijenjeno s 1 od 5od Korisnik Firefoxa 19238466, prije 14 danaThe latest version lags out enormously and uses a mind-boggling amount of RAM when logging in, making Firefox go from less than 1GB of RAM usage to just shy of 11GB. It freezes the whole browser for ~30 seconds while doing so, before finally letting all that RAM go and actually logging me in. I'm not sure if it's compromised, but I've tried reinstalling Bitwarden and I get the same results. The addon has been nearly flawless for years before, so I'm hoping this is just a temporary issue, but as it stands I find it unusable and highly suspicious about what exactly it's doing to use so much memory and freeze the browser.
