Ghostery has the perfect name because it is like a ghost (my callsign when I was flying in OV-1Ds :-) because it's doing its advertised job - blocking ads, I should say jobs plural because Ghostery does more than block ads. It gives you the intel of the DRB's who are trying to suck every 1 and 0 from your digital life so they through clever marketing schemes can manipulate your purchases. They are already manipulating our emotions (Or at least trying hard to) So no I am not digressing, Ghostery is part of the package I use to try and keep my 1's and 0's inside my private domain where they belong! Thank you Ghostery for doing what you advertise to do, and not more. (like nefarious actions under the hood.) At least I hope you aren't. I am certain I would have found a leak or something by now.
Anyway - USE Ghostery. minimal footprint. does what it says it will do and does it well indeed.
