Since then even after I re downloaded the new update I loose access to the settings from my tool bar , I have no idea lf it os working or not. I download again and it works for a while and then goes out, can anyone help.

Latest now being updated based on Webextensions so that's good, will work after Firefox 57.
On Windows no major issues. Had to restore my filters from file by going back a version, taking latest backup, then installing latest and importing. Only noticeable difference is that blocked elements often load then disappear, sometimes this can take half second or so, which is annoying. Previously they wouldn't load at all.
Bigger issues on Android, seems to be broken. Add-on is on and seems to be blocking based on hosts file but can't get into change/tweak anything.
