Firefox for Android before version 79 didn't provide any option to prompt the user before starting a file download.

This might lead to some unwanted files getting in your Android download folder after accidental taps on download links.

Android Download Prompt keeps your Android download folder nice and tidy by stopping downloads and asking whether or not you want to download the file.

The extension can be disabled/re-enabled from Firefox menu by tapping "Download Prompt (on/off)".

Privacy policy:
The extension does not collect data.

This add-on is intended as a workaround for Firefox on Android before version 79 (which has it's own download prompt).
