Didn't work. I selected a site to automatically open in reader view, then opened that site from a reddit link, and the site opened in normal view rather than reader view. Then I reloaded the page and again it opened in normal view even thought the "Auto Reader View" icon had a green checkmark. So instead I manually reloaded the site in reader view using the Firefox reader view icon near the right of the address bar. Then I removed the Auto Reader View extension. So it goes.

This is brilliant for websites with tons of distracting crap. I could already solve most of that with element picker in ublock origin, but for some sites, this is equally effective and much faster!

didn't work. page still loaded in normal view even after enabling for site.

Simply doesn't work. Tried on reuters and absolutely nothing happened.

Would be even better if I can hide the badge count from the toolbar.
