Avoid this kind of useless AntiVirus extensions that in facts can spy what you are looking on the internet, it's just collecting informations on you to profile you and similar customers to finally target ads/products/services. That's desguished spyware in counterpart to provide you a pretended nice service for free.

And just about the service provided: this kind of extensions (lots of similar exist like this one) can modify the webpages on-the-fly and also can censure some parts or search results to guide you to buy to a specific shop/information site/etc... instead of a concurrent. And guess who is paying the extension editor to do that? Sellers? Governments? ...?

Mind again before adding browser extensions!

Больше не поддерживается в firefox и самоудаляется из установленых расширений. Возможно это только для России и Белоруссии, по крайней мере свой антивирус они запретили скачивать пользователям из России и Белоруссии.

Dropping support for such a BS reason. Guess I might as well get rid of AVG altogether if this is the kind of treatment Im going to expect.

Doesn't protect as much as NoScript does and is kind of invasive. AVG is also dropping support for this extension, stating the reason as Firefox not being popular enough.

The extension would deserve even 5 stars but AVG discontinued this extension. I value that they inform you about that when you open your Firefox but they won't let you use the extension anymore. It uninstalls automatically. The reasons they mentioned for doing such a unexpected step were very stupid and dumb (the reasons were really, really that bad). Very bad take AVG and couldn't even think of good reasons.
