If it happens that two different pictures being saved have the same name on the website, it kindly automatically adds a number to the end of the file name so there is no hassle! It didn't work for me before I updated to Firefox 57, but that really was a matter of updating Firefox. 5 stars, thank you developer!
- Ocijenjeno s 5 od 5od Korisnik Firefoxa 13680229, prije 7 godinaWorks really well. Only problem I have is the notifications for downloads stay on screen for a bit longer than I'd like, can't figure out how to change the duration if it's possible. Also, it seems to tell me that an 'image' has been downloaded whenever I finish any download, even if it's not an image. But I can still rate 5 stars, these are pretty minor issues compared to how much trouble this add-on saves me.

objavljeno prije 7 godinaSorry, how long the notifications stay on screen isn't for my addon to decide. The issue with other downloads is an old one that should be fixed since long ago. but..
does not work if the URL contains a symbol (: # etc.)

objavljeno prije 7 godinaGlad you like it. Sorry it doesn't work well on twitter, but that's part to blame on twitter with their weird :orig URLs. If they just followed normal conventions, everything would work fine. That goes for all addons like this that need to analyze webpage content: the more the website deviates from standards and "does their own weird little thing", the more they'll break integration. - Ocijenjeno s 5 od 5od Korisnik Firefoxa 13513857, prije 7 godinaDoes exactly what it says. Very useful.
- Ocijenjeno s 5 od 5od StMalKavian, prije 7 godinaThe addon was cool when it worked. It had cons though: popup about finishing downloads appeared even when I was downloading non-pictures (for example, RAR files). Now it doesn't work at all, I have to use other addons. :(
Update: reinstallation helped (with restarting Firefox). The developer responds to requests really quickly.Odgovor programera
objavljeno prije 7 godinaThe wrong popups were a bug I fixed long ago. "Not working at all" is not normal, sounds like there's a personal issue with your browser. I'm very much alive and keeping my addons working.
If you post in the correct place (a gitlab issue aka the "support site" on the main page here, or an email to me) instead of misusing the review feature (I swear, it's like a trend nowadays) I'll gladly try to find out the problem and fix it for you. - Ocijenjeno s 5 od 5od Daering, prije 7 godina

Edit: since you're not doing it yourself: https://gitlab.com/Marnes/doubleclick-image-downloader/issues/37 - Ocijenjeno s 5 od 5od Bull, prije 7 godinaI'm very excited for the progression of this add-on. I used Image Picker, pre-version 57, exclusively for the ability to shift+click an image to auto save to a relatively organized and dedicated folder. This addon is on a path to be the perfect replacement for me. I hope that choosing and saving a specific save folder rather than using the browser's default download location gets implemented as the subfolder system rolls out. I would also like to see support for saving Instagram photos.
Either way--great addon, works very well and my browsing experience feels more back to normal now.Odgovor programera
objavljeno prije 7 godinaDownloading to a folder outside the browser's default download dir is not possible (even if I wanted to, it cannot be done) and an anti-feature anyway for technical reasons (hence why they made it impossible).
Sorry about the subfolder and rename feature being broken at the moment, but that's due to firefox's incomplete API. It works in chrome.
If I remember correctly, nstagram is one of a few hosts that have a very strange internal layout on their webpages that makes it impossible or very difficult for an addon to download their images. Twitter and a few others are also guilty of it. I can give them another close look to see if I can fix it but there are no promises. - Ocijenjeno s 5 od 5od Korisnik Firefoxa 13470908, prije 7 godinaGood add-on, need the option "to save as"
Odgovor programera
objavljeno prije 7 godinaIsn't the "Save image as..." menu command in your browser good enough? My addons are not meant to include everything and the kitchen sink, only to fill gaps in what browsers offer. - Ocijenjeno s 5 od 5od doogle11, prije 7 godinasuch a great addon, i like the manual double click right now, is it possible to extend the features in the future? i'm looking for something like:
- forbid duplicates
- download the largest version of the image if it's referenced/linked
- download in the same pattern for a selected area of the page
this would truly shave time off when it becomes scalable like thatOdgovor programera
objavljeno prije 7 godinaThanks for the rating, glad you like it.
Your feature requests are kinda asking for a lot though. Detecting duplicates is way out of scope for a simple addon, trying to find linked bigger versions of an image is a logistical nightmare while a user can do it himself easily, and downloading all in an area is a very tricky thing to do. Determining the "pattern" will often not have the result users want either and will be heavily affected by every individual website's structure.
I get the feeling one of your underlying problems can be solved another way: I use my other addon Copy Selected Links to get the full-res links of images in a thumbnail gallery, and throw them into jdownloader or similar programs to get all the full-size pics. Maybe that solves one of your problems?

A decent one-click image downloader for Firefox. It's ridiculous how long and how many searches and addon trials I had to do to finally find this, which is what I've been looking for all along. I don't even have to press Ctrl! And it downloads some images that otherwise try to disable the "Save Image as" menu, which is great.
- Ocijenjeno s 5 od 5od Korisnik Firefoxa 13360990, prije 8 godinaSo, I gave permission to activate Double-click Image Downloader, but it still doesnt work.
In Firefox, doubleclicking on an image fails to download it.
Additionally, in the Manage Your Add-Ons, Extensions, the Options button fails to appear. (It should be next to the Disable and Remove buttons.) So, it is impossible to tell the add-on to use the hover option.
I notice, another add-on has the same problem, Video Downloader Professional.Odgovor programera
objavljeno prije 8 godinaThis is not what reviews are for. Make an issue on gitlab ("support site") instead and provide details like your OS and exact firefox version please. Odgovor programera
objavljeno prije 8 godinaYou're going to have to be way more specific if you expect me to do something about it. Make an issue here and explain in detail: https://gitlab.com/Marnes/doubleclick-image-downloader/issues- Ocijenjeno s 5 od 5od Korisnik Firefoxa 13042315, prije 8 godinaGood job! Does exactly what I need it to do, thanks! ... Question. I can't seem to select the greyed out box for 'File renaming' section. Why is this? ... Also, will this addon be valid and working in the next Firefox, ie, 'not legacy'... Looking foreword to your response. :)
Edit: Thanks for your quick response! ... Actually, there is no 'legacy' warning on this addon, sorry. I was just getting paranoid that some addons might not be properly marked as legacy when in fact they might end up being... I don't want to start relying on addons only to have to delete them later when Firefox forces me to. So I'm keeping it! :)
Too bad about the file renaming/folder saving issue, however, Firefox will save to whatever you set it to, (Even if you set Firefox to always ask!) and auto increment is working, so it's workable... Really surprised at the lack of availability of these types of addons for Firefox as this is an extremely useful tool.Odgovor programera
objavljeno prije 8 godinaThe file renaming and subfolder features are disabled for now because the new firefox does not support them (they cannot be programmed to work). What do you mean, not legacy? The current update (6.0.0) is not a legacy addon and should not be marked as legacy in your firefox.
