DS4 Prompt Partner brings one-click prompt modes to the DeepSeek V4 web platform (tuned for the flash 1730 release), eliminating the fatigue of re-typing the same instructions every conversation.

What's included

• 13 built-in prompt modes — Explainer (ELI5), Creative Copilot, Red Team, Code Only, Single Sentence, Socratic, Step-by-Step, Structured Output, Summarize, the DeepSeek V4 thinking-mode switches (Pure Analysis and Role Immersion, using the officially documented instruction markers), and a keyword-based Auto-Detect engine
• JSON parameter injection — modes insert their JSON spec directly into the chat, which DeepSeek V4's web platform detects and applies as a parameter override; a short greeting prefix initializes the context window so parameters pass in a single send
• Slash commands — type / in the chat box for a searchable palette (/socratic, /redteam, /code, /eli5, …); Tab or Enter to insert
• Keyboard shortcuts — Ctrl+Shift+Y re-inserts your last-used mode; Ctrl+Shift+Space cycles through modes (remappable under Manage Extension Shortcuts in about:addons)
• Right-click context menu — every mode available from any editable field
• Auto-detect suggestions — typing keywords like "explain", "brainstorm", "security" or "function" surfaces a one-click mode suggestion
• Custom modes via JSON file — load any prompt spec file in Settings; aliases are derived automatically from the filename and mode fields
• Full settings panel — edit mode names, icons, aliases, and instructions; choose JSON or natural-language injection style; reset to defaults anytime

Privacy

This extension collects, transmits, and shares no data whatsoever. All modes and settings are stored locally in your browser via storage.local and never leave your device. It runs only on chat.deepseek.com.

Permissions used

• storage — save your modes and preferences locally
• contextMenus — right-click mode menu
• activeTab, clipboardWrite — insert the selected mode into the chat input
• Host access to chat.deepseek.com — the content script that performs injection

A couple of practical notes for the form:

1. If the version-notes field has a tight character limit and rejects the full text, tell me the limit and I'll cut a condensed variant — the middle feature list trims easily.
2. If you hadn't revoked that PAT yet and want this in the GitHub release too, say the word; otherwise it's easy to paste into the GitHub release notes yourself later.
