The issue of the extension being broken is on Firefox / Mozilla. Not FFZ.

Anyone wondering why its not working, Firefox is being slow at approving a update.

It's one of the best extensions for Twitch, but the extension recently stopped working and the only way I can find to get it working again is by deleting the Twitch cookies. For some reason, that fixes it. It's very annoying and I hope it's a patchable error.

While I totally back Mozilla's fight for security, the VERY SLOW verification process of extensions will eventually ends up by less concerned users to switch to script version or even browser entirely.
This is very detrimental and needs to be addressed.

This is an excellent extension providing so much extra options and settings.

Can confirm the method that ReallyLost used works. I didn't even know they had a userscript. I would have used that from the very start.

FrankerFaceZ is working on Twitch. However, Chrome and Firefox are very slow at approving updates you may need to switch to the user-script version of FrankerFaceZ if you are affected. To do so:

Disable the FFZ browser extension.

Ensure you have a userscript manager installed, such as Violentmonkey or Tampermonkey.

Visit FrankerFaceZ's website, and under the install button click Other Browsers, and then Userscript.

Install the userscript when your userscript manage prompts you to.

This will ensure you receive FFZ updates immediately when they're released. Your settings transfer freely between the userscript and the browser extension.

This worked for me.

Works again thanks to Mozilla finally approving the update.

When the add-on isn't working, I just disable it and switch to the userscript given on the official website (when we select Other browsers)

Having issues with the extension here on Firefox right now - for the first time in probably a couple years. Normally, though, It Just Works.
I see now I've taken it for granted, and forgotten how much it enhances Twitch.

FFZ is a great extension. I love the emotes and the customization features.

I am glad to find an answer to the state of the issues here in the reviews, and I look forward to the update's approval. Thank you FFZ developers.
