Almost perfect - needs a feature to translate any marked text in a page via context menu for complete perfection, but by the time anyone reads this review, that feature will probably have been added.

Finally a way to take advantage of arbitrary LLMs (including translategemma) for purely device-local translation. Firefox's built-in local translation is nice, but the quality is limited by the wide range of devices it needs to run on.

This lets you use much beefier LLMs, allowing for high-quality translations straight into your browser tab.

The extension works great. Initially, after the first installation, I kept getting messages on every page saying there was no connection to the page. I'm not sure what I fixed later on. The only thing I did was install the Translate Gem for the model and changed the output settings, removing the JSON format. I don't know if that helped or if it just started working at some point. In any case, everything is working perfectly now. Thank you.
