NewTab-URL redirects Firefox’s default New Tab page to one or more URLs of your choice.

*Use it to open a local dashboard, router page, homelab service, search page, notes page,
or any other HTTP/HTTPS destination whenever you open a new tab.

Features:

• Redirects Firefox default New Tab only
• Opens the first saved URL in the new tab

• Supports https://, http://, and about:blank
• Supports bare domains, local names, IPv4, IPv6, and hostnames with ports

Privacy:

NewTab-URL does not use analytics, content scripts, host permissions, remote code,
or external libraries. It stores your chosen URLs only in Firefox extension local storage
on your device.

and new windows remain controlled by Firefox Settings.
