Amazing extension, perfect companion to the very good iOS App. Being able to log-in and sync dashboards is the missing feature, but thats not the end of the world

The app has been very helpful on my phone in stopping me from mindlessly scrolling through social media. Very glad it's also an extension!

I don't need to block things 100%, I just need to train myself out of the reflex of opening a new tab, typing 're' + enter, and then losing 15 minutes on reddit before I realize what I'm doing. This extension (and the app) do that beautifully.

Better than all blockers I have ever used in my life, this one is just superior. It's simple to use and they absolutely know that social media is an addiction and that some people doesn't have enough self control to just don't open the sites/apps. Great extension 10/10!!

A recent update:

Required more permissions without elaborating.

Switched to a shame based system which makes me feel bad about intentionally spending time using the web.

The extension is no longer useful and causes picture-in-picture + background video to stop. This is not what I want and is not configurable. Uninstalling is the only option.

Thanks a lot for your feedback, Mark! That’s definitely not intended. one sec should not shame you. Could you elaborate a bit which new features / designs make you feel that way?

I'm a long time iOS app user and was delighted to find out that one sec also exists for Firefox. It works just as well! Maybe advertise it in the app, I didn't take it for granted that there would be a Firefox add-on.

can't "block all, allow some" which makes it pointless for me

Works so well! Serves to dissuade you from going on distracting websites, but doesn't completely prevent you if you actually need to watch a quick youtube video or look at a reddit post, so you don't end up disabling it in annoyance.

Recommend the 1 second delay, perfect amount for me.
