Create your own chat identity using solid colours, multi-colour gradients, glow effects and animated username styles such as Shimmer and Colour Scan. Polita+ also displays official Polita+ badges beside usernames across supported platform features, creating a more personal and recognisable chat experience.
The extension is lightweight, easy to use and does not require a Polita+ account to see badges or cosmetics used by other members. A Polita account is only required when saving and managing your own custom cosmetics.

The extension applies Polita+ badges and compatible username cosmetics, including solid colours, multi-colour gradients, glow, italic styling, underline controls, Shimmer and Colour Scan effects. Cosmetics are applied only to matching usernames and newly loaded chat messages.
A Polita account is not required to view badges or cosmetics used by other users. Signing in is only required to save and manage a user’s own Paint settings.
Version 3.11.8 requires host access for Twitch, Kick, YouTube and Polita domains so it can detect live-chat usernames, retrieve approved cosmetic data and apply the selected styling inside chat. It does not collect payment information, read private messages or request access outside the supported chat and Polita pages.
This update does not introduce unrelated permissions beyond those required for cross-platform chat support, account linking and cosmetic delivery.
