I installed the PWA but even if I install the deb package (OS Ubuntu 24.04 Firefox flatpak version) I cannot select the runtime installation

Flatpak is not supported because it doesn't provide the necessary APIs yet. You can read more details here: https://pwasforfirefox.filips.si/help/faq/#why-doesnt-the-extension-find-the-native-connector-on-linux

You will need to use normal Firefox (from Mozilla website or their DEB repository) instead.
