I'm very thankful for this addon as my WebExtension substitution of Session Manager by M.Kraft. I've used it since the beginning and I have never had any issues.
However, I've come to the point where sessions sync is the must have. This is why I have to change your great extension, despite that I like its UI and much more than the others.

I am glad for the effort to bring Session Manager to WebExtensions. Still, in some cases I am using one instance of FF ESR with original Session Manager by Michael Kraft for its superior functions:
- auto saving sessions
- saving either whole session or just a particular window (what's even more useful for me).
It would be great to see the above in Tab Session Manager.
I also hope to find a top notch cooperation with Multi Account Containers, like auto saving window with a particular container tabs, so I can always start or exit my Personal, Work or other Container window and have my session saved.

Worked great for a long time, but in the last month or so, the "autosave sessions" feature hasn't worked at all. I've checked my sessions to try to find windows/tabs I wanted to go back to, and the last thing saved was over a month ago even though I know I had Firefox at least set to restore previous windows. But this extension didn't save ANYTHING over the last month+ even though I had it set to do so, so that feature doesn't do anything anymore apparently. I've lost dozens of sessions due to either a bug or recent updates, but either way this is bullshit.

I can't figure out if sessions are tied to virtual desktops when they are saved and is it really important to me

Garbage. Stopped working months ago. Literally never saves tabs. Don't waste your time. It also randomly deletes your sessions. Don't be tricked by the good reviews btw. They're old reviews from years ago when it actually worked.

Misiing the main feature I was looking for - namely support for FF's tab groups. It seems the Chrome version has it. Please add functionality for FF.

Even when the firefox history allows to open closed windows and tabs, there are occasions that can brick this feature.
This addon saved my life already once - and its a good reminder to clear my tabs everytime save enother session with 900 tabs :O

by using this add-on, I could safely close lots of tabs after working, and restore those tabs in next day. Love it!

Very good tool to save, manage and edit sessions for later use, much more clear oversight than all those tab grouping functions or add ons!
Pay attention: I recommend disabling the "auto save" feature in the settings, because otherwise your library will overflow and be incredibly difficult to manage. Save sessions manually, or when you close your browser!

It has many features... but lacks the most important one: it saves open sessions as new ones, not updates them!!
Still cannot find a replacement for the old good Sync Tab Groups........ :'( This one is NOT.

Does an excellent job saving tabs. I wish it would include saving tab-groups in Firefox as well.

Вспомни моменты, когда браузер закрылся и после запуска нет 100 любимых вкладок и ты проспал запрос о восстановлении... Теперь такого не будет! Настрой сохранение при закрытии, 10 копий (или больше) и работай без страха.

Worked well for years. Sometime last year it broke, all my sessions disappeared from the list and it will only save the last session. I think I did something that fixed it, or it fixed itself and I was able to get all my stuff back (thought I am unable to recreate what I did).

But now it has happened again and this time it does not seem recoverable. The export option in the extension settings does not even work.

Not reliable, wish I could rate it higher but I am now screwed because of this. So much time will need to be wasted to get all my research and prep work back.

Find an alternative that doesn't break/wipe itself as much and has more reliable backup methods.
