je so hace 9 años napisałWe are aware of the issue with the Block Element dialog and are investigating it. You should expect it to be addressed with a follow-up release soon. You can still add any filter list you want, nothing changed here (you can use the links on https://adblockplus.org/subscriptions for example). As to missing translations, everybody is free to help out with those on https://crowdin.com/project/adblockpluschrome and https://crowdin.com/project/adblockplusui (strangely, French is supposed to be 100% translated). - Z 4 z 5 pohódnoćenywot Wužiwar Firefox 12450292, hace 9 añosIs it possible to change the colour of that icon number? je so hace 9 años napisałThat appears to be an issue with the Firefox theme you are using. It's a generic icon badge, we don't determine its color. For me, it's perfectly readable. - Z 5 z 5 pohódnoćenywot Wužiwar Firefox 6116640, hace 9 años

je so hace 9 años napisałBlockable items list has been replaced by a Developer Tools panel - press Ctrl+Shift+I (Cmd+Option+I on macOS) to open Developer Tools, then switch to the Adblock Plus panel. A move obvious way to open it would be great but sadly currently not possible (we filed a Firefox bug on that a year ago). You might need to reload the page, requests performed before the panel was opened aren't being displayed. As to Element Hiding Helper, it's sadly not possible to make it compatible with Firefox 57 but we want to incorporate parts of its functionality in Adblock Plus later. - Z 3 z 5 pohódnoćenywot Wužiwar Firefox 13415425, hace 9 añosThis add-on is no longer worth using. The updated UI is horrible, complete with social links added in. The user functionality has been seriously reduced, a list of commands is gone and been replaced by an inept alternative. Until the latest update has been reverted, do not use ABP.
EDIT: Turns out the developer is right, this isn't the fault of the add-on dev but mozzila themselves. I will be using an earlier version of firefox to combat this.Wotmołwa wuwiwarja
je so hace 9 años napisałReverting the update is not an option that is available to us, only improving the current state. Where detailed blocked list on page? Element hiding helper not work anymore, probably cause of WebExtension ADB update.

Not exaggerating... it's the worst update in the history of the program. I actually had to restore the older version from backup and shut off updates because it was so bad. The interface has gone from power user friendly to toddler friendly. Important features to allow custom filters have been removed entirely, or made so rudimentary as to not even bother. Wow. Who ever thought v3 could possibly be a good idea? I'm dumbfounded at the horrible interface. Just... so bad. Avoid this version like the plague. Do not attempt to upgrade if you're lucky enough to still be on v2.x.

je so hace 9 años napisałYes, with "adblock 57+" being essentially an old version of Adblock Plus for Chrome that's not surprising. We had to reimplement Adblock Plus for Firefox using Adblock Plus for Chrome as the starting point. You can read up on the background here: https://adblockplus.org/blog/the-plan-towards-offering-adblock-plus-for-firefox-as-a-web-extension- Z 1 z 5 pohódnoćenywot Shutdown, hace 9 añosПерестали работать 80% правил блокирования которые собирались годами и прекрасно работали на 2.9.1.

- Z 1 z 5 pohódnoćenywot sugarcoookie, hace 9 añosI've enjoyed adblock for many years, but version 3 is terrible. The new version is so striped down, it's missing every useful tool from the old adblock. Element hider is gone, and while you can still click on elements, you can't use the short cuts that I used almost every day, like the "narrower"/"wider" keyboard shortcuts. You can no longer see blockable elements on a page. Supposedly there is a way to see them, but it didn't work and it was much more difficult to get to. Don't even bother with this version - look for 2.99.

I for one, would like to see at the least the following 2 options to be back from the earlier version(s):
1) Display Blockable Items -- When we click the ABP icon when inside of any page, it used to display links in that page that could be potentially blocked)
2) Custom Filters -- As of now, the only option to add custom filters seems to be to "block element" on a page, which does not seem to work 90% of the time. Bring back the old way wherein we can add custom filters by accessing links displayed in the "Display Blockable Items on Page" view. You have to keep in mind not all users are coders and are not that computer savvy as you might expect them to be. Meaning, adding custom filters is pretty difficult for an end user like me without ABP helping me by displaying a portion or all parts of the link (of the element) I would like to block in a page. Like I mentioned earlier, as of now, 90% of the time, new the "block element" feature opens up only an EMPTY BOX that says ADD FILTERS, without any link captured inside of it. It only has the ADD and CLOSE buttons, and the box totally empty without any link.Wotmołwa wuwiwarja

je so hace 9 años napisałYes, we definitely plan to add functionality back, but that will take time. We already waited with publishing this update as long as possible - Firefox 57 will be released in merely a week. - Z 3 z 5 pohódnoćenywot SkyCharger, hace 9 añosIt would certainly help if you could at least add the option to report what filters are triggered on a specific site.
why? Firefox's add-on site just had an overhaul and I'm getting the feeling that a 'rogue' filter is currently screwing it up (which is undiagnosable with the current interface) and the added tab to the developer-tools is PRACTICALLY nonfunctional. (no means for sorting the items means I have to scroll a lot to check if there is any rule being misapplied, as it could be anywhere on the list)Wotmołwa wuwiwarja
je so hace 9 años napisałThe tab in the Developer Tools should do that for you, but it won't show requests that happened before that tab was opened - you might need to reload the page for that. It's consistent with the way Developer Tools work in general, and doing it differently would impose a performance cost on everybody, not just the people using this functionality. - Z 3 z 5 pohódnoćenywot Wužiwar Firefox 11555648, hace 9 añosпочему после последнего обновления клик по иконке не открывает сразу окно расширения? Why you not only updated the plugin engine referring to the latest Mozilla guidelines?
And partially the blocked/hidden sections came back since v3.0 ....Wotmołwa wuwiwarja
je so hace 9 años napisałIt's not as simple as "upgrading the plugin engine," large parts of the extension and particularly the user interface had to be rewritten from scratch. If I disable ABP and refresh the page, everything is fine, but if I re-enable ABP, all the browser tabs immediately go blank. I can view the source, so the pages were obviously downloaded properly, but they just aren't being rendered at all.
Everything was fine the morning of November 6; the problem started sometime in the afternoon.
Please fix ASAP.
