Youtube prevents videos from playing if I use Adblocker Plus. Can you all fix that?

After removal it keeps throwing up extra tabs to entice re-installation. Unwanted harassment.

Insanely spammy, come on guys. This works great but you're going to ask me to block cookies every other day? You're going to hijack my start page once a week? You guys are a total joke

I have actively used this app for years. It use to be the end all be all for me, now its starting to feel like a real burden. Drew Gooden mentioned it in a video saying something like how adblock blocks all ads except for the adblock ad that you get once a week. I understand we should support financially, but updating and asking for support every week is excessive to say the least. Paying for adblock right now is also tough as Google actively tries to block all adblock tools. People recommend ublock. Going to try it for a bit. Thanks for the years of service, just doesnt seem worth it anymore. I dont even need youtube ads blocked. I just want website spam blocked. But the tool I use is the website spam I want blocked now.

When it works, it's great.. . However, i paid $40 three months ago to be covered for an entire year, and the ads keep coming.
On YouTube, mainly, and i downloaded ABP because of the ridiculous amount of ads on YouTube.
i also can't seem to escape pop-ups on other sites.
What's even more annoying is that i will occasionally get a pop-up FROM ABP with a message telling me to pay MORE money !!
What did i pay $40 for??!
And why does YouTube get to circumvent your service that i paid for?!

Best extension ever, always on, always right!

This used to work ok for quite a while but now deactivates itself. Or as the extension says it is "paused", every single time trying to watch videos on the Youtube website. Even turning it back on and refreshing the page it deactivates itself again every time. Save yourself the headache and stick with the ultimate one that has no issue blocking ads on any webpage and on different browsers.

0/5 stars. Already paid $40 for the adblock extension, yet still blocked from watching youtube videos. What a SCAM!!! Not worth a single penny! Complete and utter bullSHIT if you're on Windows 11. Don't bother wasting your money, you won't get a single cent of what you paid for!

Instead of answering dissatisfied reviews with the same braindead copy-paste replies which are more insulting and annoying than anywhere in the vicinity of useful, how about you stop making a bunch of lame excuses and START MAKING AN ADD-ON THAT DOESN'T SUCK! And ditch the "premium" panhandling while you're at it!

Other completely free adblockers are about trying to provide a fully functioning, genuine adblocking solution rather than trying to profit on people looking to get rid of advertising nuisances, and these OTHER ACTUAL ADBLOCKERS HAVE NO PROBLEMS WHATSOEVER BLOCKING YOUTUBE ADS, so you Adblock Plus people are simply full of shit and clearly incompetent.

NO ONE ELSE IS HAVING PROBLEMS BLOCKING YOUTUBE but you, and everyone else is also far quicker to successfully counter YouTube's various crap and ever-changing bullshit terms of use, while you go on spouting nonsense about "using new strategies".

Furthermore, calling yourself an adblocker while allowing so called "acceptable ads" is an oxymoron. There is no such thing as "acceptable" ads! Nobody ever asked for ads, and ads of any kind are simply annoying - that's why people don't like them! Duh!

You are an "ad filter" at best, not an adblocker, because according to your own webpage it says that ADBLOCK PLUS IS PARTLY FINANCED BY THE ACCEPTABLE ADS INITIATIVE (See the "about" section: "How is Adblock Plus financed?"), and I don't care what the excuses are for that kind of financing. The fact remains that ADBLOCK PLUS IS COOPERATING WITH A PRO-ADVERTISING EFFORT! Adblock Plus is NOT an adblocker! Calling it an adblocker while receiving financing from any kind of pro-advertising interest is misrepresentation!

In this day and age, people are more than capable of finding what they need, if and when they need it, using a search engine. They don't need to be "enlightened" about the supposed benefits of various bullshit products and services offered by various asshole companies that couldn't care less about quality and customer satisfaction, so f**k your sneaky spineless duality.
