just recently installed this alongside fire fox to test ad blocking capability since youtube has initiated war against fair use content blockers preventing our pc's from being infected. just tried youtube and it DOES WORK, though it will give you on some ads a black loading screen, in other words it does play the add but you get no audio or video playback so in a way it skips and mutes any ads. works better as a tempory alternative compared to ublock origin. and this version does not get blocked on youtube. so ignore tenchcoatcraig's comment, it works just slightly different.

This AdBlock used to work great, and still does work super well on almost every site out there. But it no longer works on YouTube. Please fix.

It seems to have improved. Now Youtube does not give problems.

After a few years of using other web-blockers, they just stopped doing it's job effectively. Because people behind these companies care ONLY for money and not for the benefit of mankind.

Lucky that I found Adblocker Ultimate, even though at that time it was just an unpopular tool compared to others.

It works great it's free and is worth paying $5 "optional" so I did. If it keeps working over time I would pay more.
