Doesn't work with safe filter on. You can disable it in Settings ->Filters -> Security -> Click on switch / Не работает с включенным фильтром на безопасность. Отключается в настройках -> Фильтры -> Безопасность -> Переключаете в выключенное состояние

Great adblocker, also great for disabling distracting elements! Unfortunately when I woke up today, a lot of sites had issues, from YouTube, to Google, to DuckDuckGo, to WhatsApp and more. They all worked again after disabling this extension. Hopefully the error gets rolled back or fixed soon :) (Thank you devs for all the ads you've saved me from so far!)

After Firefox upgrade to 116.0.1 64 bit this extension corrupts almost every web site, amazon, walmart, amazon, facebook, yahoo, etc.

Up til now the extension has been great but due to reasons unknown (but likely the latest update), the extension now breaks a huge amount of different sites which renders the extension useless. Hopefully the developer will update and/or fix the extension soon.
edit: can confirm User 16992077's suggestion works. the issue seems to be with the security filter which can be turned off and the extension will then work as normal

I started disabling all of the add on and found out this thing stops all the site I use. I had this for long time now it stops working.

idk what happened but starting today, it seems youtube vids won't play while this addon is on. 🤷
never had that problem before.

As many others have pointed out, after the 4 August update it blocks a lot of websites entirely. Ones I've used daily with no issues. Another user recommended going into the extension settings, Filters tab, and turning off the Security filter (Ad filter continues to work fine), and this solved the problem for me.

Hope this helps anyone who sees it. Many sites stopped working after the 4 Aug update, but I managed to get them working again after going into the extension settings, Filters tab, and turning off the Security filter. The Ad filter continues to work fine.

Youtube blocks playback now, if you have it activated on their site, uninstalling, I'll have to look for alternative

Like everyone else has said, the new update just completely ruined my online experience. Half of the websites I use won't load and I've just decided to remove this ad blocker entirely.

4th Aug23 issue, cannot play vdo on youtube or other stream web. It's just loading rolling. When disable extension. Vdo work as usual. Please fix this. Thanks.

End of an era... This worked really amazing for a long time but suddenly, today, it blocks most websites from working at all now. Just a big cat and mouse game. Stupid corporations love to spend $10 to try and save $1. Just leave folks alone already. We don't want your ads, end of story.

Became useless after 4th Aug 23 update

As others have said, whatever was done in the recent update has messed up everything. I can't even view emails or use Google properly with the add-on enabled. Please fix this! It used to be great :(

*Edit* The fix for this issue seems to be removing then re-adding the extension. Everything is working as it should again so I changed my review to 5 stars as the problem seems to have been caused by the recent Firefox update and is not the developer's fault.

Doesn't work anymore on youtube as of 4th of August 2023. It makes the video unplayable, only solution is deactivating it. Looks like google has finally caught on.

Whatever recent update / change was made has broken many, many sites. Some sites don't load at all, leaving a blank page. Some sites load some content and fail to load the rest. AdBlocker used to be a great add-on, but someone did something to break nearly every site on the Internet when this tool is enabled. Someone at AdAvoid needs to review the most recent change and undo it.
