Gave them benefit of the doubt for the past month, but still no fix in sight for the massive performance issues on sites like Reddit & YT, none of the filtering methods work to stop the extension from using up to 32gb of ram suddenly.
Stuck using it since there's no real good alternative.

Lalu saat beralih buka Web yg bertema gelap, masih tetap jelas kelihatan tulisan berubah putih atau warna lain yg lebih terang enak dilihat dan dibaca. recently make Firefox slow down

There was a recent update or something because this Add-on is making my Firefox super slow. I feel like for some reason there seems to be a memory leak because Firefox is using soo much RAM when Dark Reader is enabled. Task manager is telling me my RAM, 16GB, is almost maxed with only firefox and a couple tabs. There has to be a bug or something, I get a popup from Firefox asking me if I want to disable the addon because it is making the browser super slow. I have to disable it until this gets fixed. I love it when it works, but not right now

The add-on seems to be causing extreme slowdowns in Firefox. Whenever I open a new website, it slows down for over 5 seconds while Firefox displays a message of it being caused by "Dark Reader".

It's good only let down by high cpu usage even to the point it causes firefox to hang. Should do better.

Faulty extension, slows down a browser.

What happened to this add-on? It used to work well, now it kills and slows the browser. Please fix it.

Edit* It's working great now. This and uBlock are two of the best and most important Add-ons on Firefox.

I normally love this extension, but it's now making firefox EXTREMELY slow and laggy, overloading resources and causing pages to take 30 seconds or more to load. Firefox also prompted me to stop the extension on several occasions because it detected it was slowing down the browser

used to love this until it stated slowing down every site making it unusable. Now my eyes hurt. Booo

There seems to be come problem currently with this extension whenever i open reddit it runs really slow and firefox shows the message that Dark reader is slowing the browser down with a stop button.

Great app, having trouble using it on Reddit with latest Firefox update

This add-on is constantly phoning home, on all browsers & engines. I saw this in my Pi-hole - even when you disable the buried sync option. I haven't looked up the payload or code but beside the tracking it also displays some news/donation adverts in front/overlaying the config options.

Makes firefox lag somehow now

Had to inactive it since i was slowing the brownser and showing a firefox's pop up suggesting to stop the add-on, what i've done.

Used to work fine, now makes the browser lag and pop up issues.
